• 2020 In Review

  • Dear Chiro-Health Community,

Happy New Year! We are so grateful for all of you and your endless support throughout 2020! We are honored to have had such wonderful patients, and appreciate that you allowed us the opportunity to make you feel good and, most importantly, make you feel healthy.

2020 was a year unlike any other for our practice.

When the United States went into lockdown due to COVID-19, Chiro-Health temporarily closed from April until May. We were unable to see our patients and missed being in the office. As the pandemic continued, more-and-more boarded-up businesses began to fill the streets surrounding our practice and we became the only ones left in the building. It was scary to see so many small businesses cease to exist, yet we remained hopeful about making it through these challenging times.

Despite the adversity, Chiro-Health’s dedication to serving its patients remained at the forefront of the company’s goals and we persevered. We wanted to remain dedicated to serving others – so we got creative. Dr. Mazgaloff began using her garage as an office in which to adjust her neighbors and our business temporarily transitioned into having our doctors available for virtual visits at no charge to patients.

While the year brought much fear and uncertainty, 2020 also had much good.

    • 3 new hires were added to our Chiro-Health team. – Diane Tuet (our acupuncturist), Heidi Jones (our massage therapist), and Anthea Vishegonov (our Marketing and Research Intern)
    • We began offering several new services such as facial rejuvenation acupuncture, acupuncture for skin conditions, craniosacral therapy, oncology massage, Reiki, and reflexology massage
    • 336 new patients were seen at our office and we performed 8752 adjustments over the year
    • We donated $17,850 in free care through our new patient special
    • We expanded our social media efforts on Instagram and Facebook
    • Dr. Mazgaloff led her Castro Valley boot camp
    • Dr. Latza got engaged
    • And we had 9 new babies born in the practice

Chiro-Health has persevered through one of the toughest years, but our patients are the reason for our continued success. We thank you all and appreciate the opportunity to serve you.

In 2021, we have some goals we hope you will help us achieve:

    1. Continue to grow our practice through patient referrals – we are grateful for all of your referrals of friends and family this past year and look forward to being the best possible service providers we can be for you in the years to come
    2. Maintain our patients’ health and wellness through the services we offer and any services we add
    3. Help and adjust even more patients than we did in 2020
    4. Increase our volunteer efforts in our community
    5. Add more videos of at-home exercises and health maintenance tips to our YouTube Channel

We are very excited about what 2021 will bring to our practice, our patients, and the world. 2021 won’t be perfect, but no year is. Thank you for letting us keep you and your family healthy and we hope you all have good health and happiness throughout this new year. We look forward to helping you stay healthy and happy for many years to come!

    Yours In Health,

Dr. Mazgaloff and The Chiro-Health Team
