Ryan Dempsey, Acupuncturist
Ryan Dempsey studied in China, and witnessed the power of acupuncture, Chinese herbs and Medical massage (Tui Na). When he returned home, he got a severe shoulder injury while participating in sports. He decided to try acupuncture as an alternative to the recommended surgery.
Within two months Ryan had regained all his strength and flexibility and was able to avoid further damaging his shoulder with a surgical procedure.
At that point, Ryan decided to study and practice Chinese Medicine. He spent his first years in practice in San Diego and recently returned to the Bay Area to be closer to family.
Ryan joined Community Acupuncture of Marin and Chiro-Health Chiropractic, to help people return to the activities that bring them joy and to share their lives in balance with their loved ones.
